Remaining headstones in the Old Mills or Kaylon Cemetery
This photo taken in 2006 shows the only two headstones that remain in the Old Mills Cemetery.  There are four "known" burials in this cemetery, however research indicates that there may be numerous unmarked graves within this cemetery.  (Photo 2006 by Jeff Cannon- ©Copyright)

PLEASE NOTE:  We will soon be uploading a detailed history for the Old Mills Cemetery as we are finishing our research.  Please check back for a complete cemetery history.

Headstone Transcriptions for Old Mills Cemetery

NOTE:  In addition to the taking of a headstone inscription reading we have also consulted a number of other records including but not limited to cemetery research by Mary Wilson, Florida Death Index*, Local Funeral Home Records, W.P.A. Records, Unpublished Genealogical Society Records, obituaries and newspaper aritcles.  If we have an obituary on file for someone listed we would be happy to provide a copy upon request.
